365 Days of Tequila is an immersive storytelling project created by Neil Patrick (Pato) O’Toole, a seasoned educator, photographer, and cultural explorer. Pato’s goal is to document the lives, traditions, and identities of 365 individuals across the five states where tequila is born—Jalisco, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Nayarit, and Tamaulipas—capturing the richness of their personal stories and the connections that shape the cultural fabric of these regions.

At its heart, 365 Days of Tequila is an ethnographic journey that uses tequila as a metaphor for identity, tradition, and shared experience. Through interviews, photography, and videography, the project seeks to amplify diverse voices—celebrating individual histories, collective connections, and the enduring spirit of community.

With an aim to reach a wide audience through compelling storytelling, 365 Days of Tequila invites viewers to explore Mexico’s depth and beauty, one story at a time. By blending art, curiosity, and human connection, Pato’s work aspires to bridge cultural understanding and inspire a greater appreciation for the people, traditions, and spirit of these extraordinary places.

Follow the journey at 365DaysOfTequila.com as we honor 365 voices, 365 stories, and the vibrant soul of Mexico—one sip, one story, at a time.
